It will not create one, and I cannot create a response file myself because I am not the intelligent. I was looking to create a response file using the command setup.exe -r and I cannot get the setup.iss file that I need. However, that is not a silent uninstall and I can't find a switch to make it silent either. So, I just ran it anyway and looked in my temp directory and a file called _NSS_18985.exe is created. s, /s /S -S, /SMS, /Silent /silent /quiet /q /qn and none work to run it silently. I can't find a switch to put in a batch file to make that run silently. I've looked for the uninstall string in the registry here is what I get:Ĭ:\Program Files\Norton Security Scan\Engine\3.6.0.31\InstWrap.exe I would like to uninstall this annoying program system wide. Is there anyway to uninstall Norton Security Scan silently or unattended?Ī good amount of users have ended up with this on their computers as a result of downloading either Java or Adobe products.
